My Story

Hello, I’m Alison Grayson (she/they). I’m a OHA Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator based out of Portland OR, on the land of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla peoples. I also work as a supervising Doula with BeLoved Hospice and Palliative Care, and previously ran my own private practice as Grief and End of Life Doula. I have had the honor of setting bedside with countless patients and their families at end of life, providing guidance, support, and love for the transitions ahead.

I credit much of my own personal healing to the assistance of psilocybin and ongoing integration work, but it wasn’t until receiving a life threatening injury in 2021 that I felt a calling towards becoming a facilitator. From there, I graduated from Inner Trek’s inaugural cohort, and became one of the first licensed for Psilocybin Facilitators in the nation.

As a facilitator, I specialize with those who are facing end of life, life altering injuries or diagnoses, chronic illness, and grief, be it from a loss of a loved one, loss of identity, or even grief at the state of the world. I also work with those who are facing anxieties around mortality and death, regardless of where they are in on their own life path.

My initial path towards End of Life work began unexpectedly with my art. Through this work, I started to witness a deep shift in my perception of death, life, and how to live my fullest life though connection and relationship within myself, others, and both the physical and the unseen world around us. Initially I went to university for film and video, and I believe deeply that the stories we tell about ourselves are of the utmost importance. I’ve had the honor of traveling the world, helping people from all different cultures and walks of life share their stories. Not only has this foundation given me a wealth of life experience and deep respect for the beautiful diversity of the world we live in, but it’s allowed me to view art, stories, and mythologies as invaluable tools for understanding ourselves and integrating a psychedelic experience.

I have a deep respect for my clients and the psilocybin, and my oath is to create a safe, nurturing container for the path that lies ahead. I’d be honored to work with you.

Personal Values

Everyone has their own path, and everyone has their own story.

I am well-versed in cultural and systematic differences, neurodivergence, physical limitations, chronic illness, different religious and spiritual practices, LGBTQIA and alternative relationship structures. I am adamantly anti-racist and anti-oppression. I acknowledge that we all live in our own realities, and that there are deeply rooted systematic and societal forces that cause many to deal with additional obstacles and difficulties. My job is to support you in connecting to your own power and truths, not to reinforce a cultural narrative or to enforce my own.

We all have an immensely powerful inner guidance system, and my mission is to empower you to fully access your own core being.
